Hi, I’m Lexi, the photographer behind Lexi P Photography.
Photography has always been something I’ve enjoyed. I’ve always loved taking pictures, being creative, and finding ways to capture the people and moments around me. As my children have gotten older, I’ve had more opportunities to pursue photography in a different way, and LP Photography grew from there.
I’m a wife, a mom of three, a homeschool mom, and a huge animal lover. Being a mom has probably influenced my photography more than anything. I know how quickly kids grow and how easy it is to forget the little things about different stages of life.
That’s a big part of why I love capturing people as they really are.
My Photography Style
I’d describe my photography style as vivid, natural, and true to life.
I want your photos to be beautiful and polished, but I still want you to look like you.
I love a good posed photo, but some of my favorite images happen in between those poses — a real laugh, a look between two people, kids being themselves, or one of those little moments you could never plan.
During sessions, I’m pretty laid-back. I’ll give you direction and help with posing when you need it, but I don’t want the entire session to feel stiff or forced.
You don’t need to show up knowing what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job.
My goal is for you to get your gallery back and feel like I captured some of the best photographs of you and the people you love.
Why I Love Maternity Photography
I photograph many different kinds of sessions, but I’ve really fallen in love with maternity photography.
There’s something special about photographing a mom during such a short and meaningful part of her life. I love finding flattering light, natural poses, and the little details that help her feel confident and beautiful.
More than anything, I want the moms I photograph to feel as good as they look.
Pregnancy doesn’t always make you feel glamorous, but I want you to look back at your maternity photographs and see what everyone else sees.
That has quickly become one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.
Family Photos Don’t Have to Be Perfect
Being a mom of three has taught me not to expect perfection from kids, and I don’t expect it during family sessions either.
Your kids don’t need to sit perfectly still.
They don’t have to smile on command every time.
And if things get a little chaotic, that’s completely okay.
We’ll get the posed family photographs, but we’ll also let the kids be themselves. Sometimes the laughing, playing, hugging, and completely unplanned moments end up being the images you love most.
I want your family photographs to actually feel like your family.

Your family doesn’t have to look like something out of a magazine.
Just show up as yourselves.
I’ll give you direction, we’ll have some fun with it, and I’ll take care of the rest.
At the end of the day, I want to give you photographs that look like you on your best day — vivid, genuine, and full of the people and moments you don’t want to forget.
